    Description

    Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School (OLFCS) is looking for a full-time Learning Specialist to join our outstanding faculty of teachers for the school year. If you have a passion for teaching and a gift for inspiring the young minds of tomorrow's leaders, we are looking for you.

    Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School is a Preschool-8th Grade elementary school with an enrollment of 250 students. We follow the Archdiocese of Denver curriculum standards, which can be accessed

    Qualifications

    Candidates must:
    • Be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church;
    • Be open to growth and have enthusiasm for learning;
    • Be willing to be a member of a collaborative team of teachers in a Professional Learning Community;
    • Teach and support the educational goals and objectives of OLFCSand the mission of the Catholic Church.
    Teacher candidates should:
    • Have or be willing/able to obtain a valid Colorado Teaching License with appropriate endorsementsor ability to obtain a Catholic Educators Credential through the archdiocesan Catholic Educators Credentialing and Formation Program
    • Have strong organization skills, understand the behavior, emotional, and cognitive needs of elementary school students
    • Have content-area knowledge appropriate to the educational grade level of students
    • Have knowledge of instructional practices and pedagogy
    • Have effective classroom management skills
