POSITION: Concession Stand Attendant
STATUS: Part-Time, As Needed
REPORTS TO: Arena Food & Beverage Management
FACILITY: Erie Insurance Arena
HOURLY RATE: $11.00/hour + tips
(Average hourly earnings with tips range from $15.00 to $20.00 depending on business volume)

Be part of the action at one of Erie's busiest venues As a Concession Stand Attendant, you'll deliver great food and even better service to thousands of guests attending concerts, hockey games, shows, and more. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment and enjoys making memorable experiences for guests.
What You'll Do
From hot dogs to cold drinks, you'll help keep our fans fueled and happy during every event:

• Serve food and beverages quickly and accurately with a friendly, upbeat attitude

• Maintain a clean and organized stand throughout the shift

• Check stock levels and restock counters, coolers, and prep stations as needed

• Assist with basic food prep following portion and safety standards

• Operate POS systems and handle cash/credit transactions accurately

• Follow alcohol service and health department guidelines

• Communicate low stock levels or customer needs to kitchen or supervisors

• Clean counters, equipment, utensils, and service areas before, during, and after events

• Assist with concession inventory processes

• Perform other related duties as assigned
What We're Looking For

• Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
  
  • RAMP certification required - Over 18 (can be completed through Erie Events)
  
  • Prior experience in concessions, food service, or bartending preferred (over 18)
  
  • Must be dependable, personable, and customer-service focused
  
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a fast-paced team environment
  
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout shift (up to 50 lbs.)
  
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Sell, serve, and distribute alcohol
• Fryers
• Flattop Grill
• Open Flames
• Burners
• Compactors & Balers
