If you are a motivated professional looking for a long-term fit where you can grow in a role, and will be valued and empowered, then we invite you to apply to our Legal Secretary position in our Las Vegas Office./ppThe Position/ppThis is an excellent opportunity for legal professionals seeking to expand their careers who are interested in gaining fast-paced professional experience with a national law firm./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliPrepare legal filings: format documents, pull exhibits, proofread and redact documents/liliDraft and send routine correspondence/liliPrepare court forms such as notices and other simple pleadings/liliE-file court filings in both State and Federal court, in this and other jurisdictions/liliHeavy Calendaring: maintain attorney calendars and ensure all dates/deadlines are calendared/liliOpen new matters / process matters for closing/liliDeposition scheduling/liliDocument management and organization/liliEnsure that documents are properly saved to the Document Management System/liliBecome familiar with court and agency rules and filing procedures as well as client guidelines/liliCreate and maintain case contact sheets/liliManage expense reimbursements/liliManage bills for third party vendors, process check requests and follow up with accounting/li/ulpQualification/pulliMust have 4+ years Defense Litigation experience/liliPrior experience with e-filing and litigation procedures and processes/liliFamiliarity with State and Federal court procedures and rules/liliAbility to work in a team-based setting with other Legal Secretaries supporting a group of attorneys/liliExcellent organizational skills with the ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment/liliExcellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks quickly and efficiently/liliAble to prioritize and multitask / organize yourself to be able to concurrently manage several tasks/liliAble to work independently; self-motivated/liliMust be a team player/liliStrong written and verbal communication skills/liliMust know Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)/liliFamiliarity with iManage and eDockets a plus/li/ulpWhy Should You Apply?/pulliBenefits: Outstanding benefits package, including 401k match and generous PTO plan/liliCareer Growth: Ample opportunities for professional development and advancement/liliEmployee Perks: Access to corporate discount plans and other benefits/li/ul/div
