The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of complex systems.

The Engineer Systems 2 will work closely with other engineers, project managers, and customers to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.

Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; Knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices
~ Experience working on ships
~ Strong Proficiency in 2D & 3D AutoCAD
~ Experience with system analysis and requirements development
~ Knowledge of multiple disciplines including piping, HVAC, structure, and electrical systems
~ Experience with system integration and testing
~ S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance

\Openness to travel as required
Familiarity with IDEA CAD Standards
Office, industrial, or shipboard environment. Lifting and moving materials may be required.
