    Aegon Global Business Solutions Center is supporting these businesses with IT, Finance, Risk, Model Validation, Actuarial, Audit and Asset management services with a growing team of approx.

    300 people, based in Budapest, Hungary.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:
    Extracts and analyzes financial data from various accounting and information systems to perform appropriate analyses.
    Supports year end Capital team reporting . Compile data from multiple sources and check for completeness and accuracy in interface templates and various reporting systems.
    Prepares Annual Statutory Reporting completing various annual statement exhibits and supplements.
    Supports quarterly and monthly reporting needs including analysis and trend reporting. Utilizes a thorough understanding of the business to enhance reporting.
    Participates on project teams or leads project teams.
    Works effectively with other departments/divisions to ensure business issues are resolved for the success of the company.
    Offers leadership and direction to others. May supervise others.

    Possesses and applies broad knowledge of concepts and principles or exhibits technical expertise in a specific area; works with minimal instruction or guidance with appreciable latitude for un-reviewed action or decisions; performs moderately difficult assignments with diverse scope and complexity, requiring a great deal of originality, creativity and problem solving with initiative and independent judgment required.

    Responsible for adherence to the company's framework of internal controls.

    Other requirements and skills include:
    Extended hours for 10-15 business days a quarter during quarter end (January, April, July, October) including weekend work.
    Understanding of finance and accounting principles required with a 4-year degree in accounting or finance.
    Capability to query and work with large data along with complex excel skills.
    Ability to effectively communicate in English orally and in writing.
    Skill to handle multiple projects, customer service approach, willingness to take on new projects, analytical.
    Work effectively individually and within a team.
    Organizational and prioritization skills.


    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and/or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 5 years' experience, with degree. Advanced computer skills especially in Excel.
    Preferred

    Qualifications:

    Willing to work US hours especially during quarter end.
    Solid knowledge of accounting/financial area preferred (for example, investments, insurance products, premium).

    Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, ability to handle multiple projects, customer service approach, willingness to take on new projects, analytical.

    Work effectively individually and within a team; organizational and prioritization skills.
