Job summary
The Master Electrician is responsible for executing and maintaining the lighting design for both the Medora Musical and the Gospel Brunch. This includes oversight of all lighting systems, power distribution, equipment maintenance, and supervision of lighting crew members during load-in tech performances strike The ideal candidate is a highly organized leader with strong technical knowledge passion live entertainmentQualifications
- Proven experience as a Master Electrician lead electrician in a professional academic theater setting
- Strong working knowledge ETC lighting systems intelligent fixtures DMX network protocols
- Experience low voltage fixtures wireless practical units calling follow spot cues show-calling capacity preferred comfortable working heights outdoor environments proficient lighting software Lightwright Vectorworks ETC Eos Family excellent leadership communication skills ability lift 50+ lbs work long hours weekends evenings valid driver license degree equivalent experience theatrical lighting technical theatre
