    Job Title: Assistant Store Team Leader at Pet Supplies Plus

    Responsibilities:

    • Show your team how it's done by setting a positive example, such as warmly welcoming customers and their furry companions into the store.
    • Support local pet rescue efforts and suggest hosting adoption events.
    • Get involved in helping customers choose the best natural dog food options.
    • Analyze store sales to develop strategies for boosting sales and enhancing customer engagement.
    • Create a friendly atmosphere for your team and customers, earning a reputation for outstanding pet-centric service.

    This role requires diligence in operational store management, adherence to policies for exceptional service, maintaining team morale, ensuring a fully staffed team, and fostering a culture of learning and development.

    Requirements:

    • At least 2 years of retail team leadership experience.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; High school diploma/GED required.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
    • Ability to operate store equipment including forklifts, handle physical demands like climbing and lifting heavy items, and flexible availability.
    • Must have reliable transportation, be 18 years or older, and pass a mandatory drug test.
