JOB SUMMARY:

The Marketing Manager leads a staff of marketing professionals in developing and carrying out marketing strategies and measuring program performance.

Using deep understanding of the dealership's strategic goals and analysis of customer and market data, the Marketing Manager develops marketing campaigns to generate leads, create product and brand awareness and build customer loyalty.

The Marketing Manager works closely with other departments and leaders at the dealership to understand their product, service, and solution offerings, ensuring that the dealership's brand and vision are upheld and are represented positively.

COMPETENCIES:

Must be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees; Proven skills in written and verbal communications, planning, organizing, leadership, and interpersonal relationship building; Must be able to relate to all levels of employees and be a team player who motivates and educates other team members; Ability to set and manage priorities for both individual and staff responsibilities and tasks; Ability to travel across the territory to visit customers and branches is required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, or related business field is required, Master's degree preferred.

Five-to-Seven years of progressive experience in managing marketing or sales functions and departments; Three or more years in a marketing leadership position is required; Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable; Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, marketing automation platforms, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and tools for data analysis, marketing and design; Strong data analysis and visualization skills, including marketing database management; Ability to read, interpret and explain documents such as financial reports, legal and service agreements and procedure manuals; Ability to write routine reports and effective correspondence for internal and external audiences; Out of region travel may be required (up to 25%).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
