    Description

    Laboratory Technician

    • 2nd and 3rd shift openings

    Job Description:


    • Navigate plant environment in order to properly obtain liquid samples from silos using FDA and plant standards, maintained awareness around machines/forklifts


    • Test samples using lab equipment/instruments, tests such as PH, acidity, Freezing point, viscosity, solid/fat percentages, ensuring samples were kept in a spec range


    • Carefully document everything with dates and signatures while also keeping the lab clean to prevent contamination and make sure supplies are refilled(chemicals/pipets/etc)


    • Follow FDA standards and plant standards in the lab and plant at all times, calibrate equipment daily among other daily tasks, receiving phone calls from the dairy and various parts of the plant, continuously multitasking all day to ensure products/samples were able to proceed ahead and in specification.

    Quality assurance, quality control, lab instrumentation, manufacturing environment, chemistry, laboratory, biology, cGMP, microbiology, qc, titration, inspection, analytical chemistry, data entry

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    AAS or BS in technical sciences

    1+ years working in a manufacturing environment

    Ability to document and review Quality standards
