    What we are seeking:

    We are in search of a hard-working, enthusiastic, friendly, and reliable individual to take on the role of an automotive service dispatcher. In this position, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and overseeing the flow of service work through the department efficiently and professionally, while delivering quality repairs at a fair cost to our customers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Schedule shop work effectively to maximize productivity based on the dealership policy and technician skill level.
    • Prioritize and manage all comebacks for timely attention and resolution.
    • Ensure accurate repair order documentation, including complaints, causes, and corrections for each repair order.
    • Regularly review job status, update status logs, and communicate any changes in time or cost estimates to the service advisor and customers.
    • Maintain professional and timely communication with service customers.
    • Prepare estimates as needed.
    • Review technicians' hard copies of repair orders to verify completion and accuracy.
    • Open and close repair orders efficiently.
    • Ensure compliance with warranty material procedures by technicians.
    • Coordinate job status with the next shift supervisor.
    • Schedule maintenance for service department vehicles and equipment.
    • Compile a list of required equipment, supplies, and repairs for the service department and review with the service manager.
    • Coordinate parts needs with the parts department and schedule appointments with special-order parts customers promptly.
    • Notify parts and service managers of recurring shortages for corrective action.

    Qualifications:

    • Ability to understand and follow instructions effectively.
    • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required.
    • Strong verbal communication skills and professional demeanor.
    • Professional appearance and behavior.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong team player.
