    Description

    Building Manager

    Our client, a family office, with investments in NY, is seeking a Buidling Manager for their NYC mixed use buildings. This role will support the team by managing, overseeing and coordinating daily operations in two buildings owned and operated by the company. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional office experience, while owning and managing relationships with internal and external shareholders.

    Responsibilities:

    • Own the NYC office and facilities experience for two adjacent buildings (100,000 square feet)
    • Manage the office and act as property manager for leased space
    • Respond to employee and renter service requests, schedule preventive and reactive maintenance via assigned vendors, and communicate and coordinate with employees
    • Act as a key point of contact for all office operations while maintaining the budget, including supply ordering, building maintenance, construction projects, shipments, inventory, etc.
    • Track utilities, communicate and negotiate with vendors, manage contract, submit invoices, and track spending while also maintaining internal documentation.

    Qualifications:

    • 4-5+ years of facilities and office management experience.
    • Must be able to prioritize work, meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
    • Strong communication skills to provide exceptional support for company, office and buildings.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
