    We are seeking a metal shop lead that will play a pivotal role in driving our metal shop to new heights of efficiency, quality, and innovation.

    We are looking for a leadership experienced individual who specializes in delivering precision-crafted metal components. Our team operates on a Monday–Friday, 7am – 3:30pm schedule.

    Position Summary

    You will be responsible for training and supervising all aspects of the metal shop, ensuring high-quality output, adherence to safety standards, and efficient workflow.

    Conduct the cycle counts for the department.
    Issue the materials required for the jobs produced
    Check the consumables used in production of product

    Reads and interprets prints, instructions, and symbols, to ensure that the completed parts match what is required and must have full understanding of print reading and welding symbols, along with geometric tolerances and how they relate to the finished part.

    Replace employees for breaks and lunches when required
    Ability to set up and run the paint line including hanging and removing parts on the paint line the materials required for the jobs produced the consumables used in production of product

    Knowledge & Skills
    Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
    Works independently and within a team
    1 year of machine operation experience, preferably Strip It, Break Press, or sanding machines experience
    Microsoft Office Suite
    A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship
    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    Qualifications
    2 years of hands on experience in metalworking, fabrication, and welding
    Previous team lead experience preferred
    High school diploma or GED required. Secondary education preferred
    2 years' experience with Brake press, CNC Punch Press, MIG Welding and Powder Coating preferred.
    Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
