    Are you detail-oriented and love working with data? We're seeking a skilled Wireless Telecommunications Database Maintenance Specialist to join our team

    As a primary point of contact for wireless telecommunication (WT) requests, you'll manage and reconcile WT data and carrier information.

    You'll be responsible for ensuring WT data is accurate and in compliance with agency record retention rules, and for generating and distributing reports to programs.


    Additionally, you'll provide general assistance to programs related to WT policy and procedures, request process, and equipment upgrades.

    Essential Job Functions:

    Required duties for the position:

    As the Wireless Telecommunications Database Maintenance Specialist, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy of our WT database and carrier information.

    You'll be responsible for auditing and reconciling data resources provided internally or externally to ensure the data is accurate. This will involve analyzing data and creating reports for HHS programs, management, and the wireless telecommunication team lead.

    In addition to managing the database, you'll also manage and assign incoming Wireless Telecom requests and emails to the WT team.

    You'll review, validate, and document requests, resolve outstanding issues, and forward them for fulfillment.

    As the point of contact for staff, you'll communicate daily, both verbally and in writing, to assist staff with general questions related to WT processes, request status updates, etc.

    This role will also include data entry into WT tracking solutions, including WT databases and cellular carrier sites.
    You'll assist with orders for basic WT equipment and services as requested by programs. You'll also serve as backup to other WT staff and participate in special projects.

    Knowledge Skills Abilities:


    • Knowledge of HHSC programs and structures; of reporting hierarchy; and of adherence to policy.
    • Skill in prioritizing and managing multiple work assignments efficiently and meeting deadlines.
    • Skill in audit and reconciliation of various data sets.
    • Skill in data entry and attention to detail when inputting and reviewing data
    • Skill in using software programs including Microsoft Access, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Adobe.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with individuals of diverse backgrounds and at all levels of the organization
