Job requirements:
must have a thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts, requires broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair, must have basic knowledge of electrical theory, must have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers.
This job requires working knowledge of technical publications.The incumbent receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks, and may be required to make entries in aircraft logs and records.
Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects.Inspect all aircraft work performed by LMR Personnel to ensure/verify completion per required standardsVerify all Safety of Flight discrepancies are compliantEnsure accuracy of aircraft historical recordsUpdate aircraft historical records as necessaryProvide oversight of aircraft Weight & Balance ProgramEnsures maintenance tasks are performed to the highest standard ofexcellenceProvide guidance to lower level technicians#mfcvetsBasic Qualifications:
~ Minimum five (5) years experience in aircraft maintenance~ Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft and aircraft systems/components~Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft forms and records ~ Must have the ability to research, read, and interpret drawings, technical manuals, and directives~ Must the ability to write with clarity and technical accuracy~ Experienced in performing quality inspections~ Performs with excellence~ Must be motivated and have a personal desire to develop greater knowledge of their technical specialty~ Vigilant, Observant, Alert and have an inquiring nature~ Must be able to work in a team environment~ Must be willing to flex daily work schedule based on customer needs
