Location: 7550 Hendrick Auto Plaza NW, Concord, North Carolina 28027

Summary: Responsible for selling, identifying, and documenting service needs for customers. In charge of scheduling service appointments.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This role does not involve direct supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

Collaborating with customers and technicians to determine required maintenance.
Providing advice on necessary services.
Proposing additional services and repairs.
Calculating cost of parts and labor for vehicle restoration.
Estimating repair costs.
Entering estimates on service orders and explaining them to customers.
Scheduling appointments.
Meeting repair and production standards.
Maintaining high CSI levels.
Keeping work area organized, clean, and safe.
Participating in mandatory training.
Accurately recording worked hours.
Following safety rules and regulations.
Demonstrating company's core values.
Adhering to company policies and procedures.
Observing safety rules and regulations.
Other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, individuals need to perform all key duties effectively.

Education/Experience:

Previous experience in automotive or customer service sectors. Solid knowledge of vehicle mechanics. Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.

Certificates and Licenses:

- Valid Driver's License

- Automobile Salesperson License

Computer Skills:

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Dealership Management System and other web-based applications used for operations.

Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and follow instructions. Effective communication with customers and colleagues.

Attendance Expectations:

This role requires consistent attendance. Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands:

Regular talking and hearing. Frequent standing, walking, and sitting. Exposure to noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, and various service conditions.

Environment Demands:

Tasks are mainly conducted in the service area. Responsibilities may involve road tests on customer vehicles. Interaction with customers, service manager, technicians, and various departments' employees.

Verbal and Writing Ability:

Ability to read, comprehend, and present information effectively to individuals and groups.

Math Ability:

Basic arithmetic skills.

Reasoning Ability:

Applying common sense to follow instructions and deal with various situations.
