    Job Location:
    South Windsor, CT (On-site)

    • Lead the company's engineering resources including project management, technical product management, application development, database development, quality assurance and IT departments.
    • Develop technical aspects of the company's strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
    • Setting company technical vision and leading company's technological development
    • Developing strategic plans and setting timelines for evaluation, development, and deployment of all technical, web, and mobile services
    • Collaborating with department heads, marketing, production, and operations as advisor of all technologies involved with company
    • Ensuring technology standards and best practices are met
    • Establishing software development process and set objectives for process
    • Mentoring team members
    • Identifying company user software needs
    • Monitoring performance profiling tools and procedures
    • Maintaining network security with IT team
    • Reviewing timeframes and budgets
    • Developing and implementing disaster and emergency recovery plans
    • Supervising workflow of IT department
    • Defining company standards for systems, equipment, and software
    • Sharing technological visions, opportunities, and risks company-wide
    • Studying current and new industry trends, technologies, and software development
    • Studying information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
    • Representing company at conferences and networking events
    • Ensuring company's technological processes and service comply with all requirements, laws, and regulationsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    Proven experience in data center management, preferably in a high-availability environment.
    Strong knowledge of data center technologies, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization.
    Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards relevant to data center operations.
    Experience with disaster recovery planning, implementation, and testing.
    Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

    Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, CCNA, etc.) are a plus.
