Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a multi-modality imaging technologist proficient in CT, MRI, and X-ray/Fluoroscopy for a 13-week weekend day shift contract.

Responsibilities
Work in a diagnostic imaging department performing CT, MRI, X-ray, and fluoroscopy
Modalities include CT, MRI, radiologic (X-ray), and fluoroscopy/C-arm imaging
Schedule is 3x12-hour weekend day shifts per week
Occasional on-call shifts per department rotation

Responsibilities span three modalities:
CT, MRI, and general radiography/fluoroscopy
CT duties include operating the CT scanner, assisting with contrast administration, and supporting interventional procedures such as biopsies and drainages under CT guidance
MRI duties include patient screening for metal objects and monitoring the scan room for safety
General radiology duties include operating X-ray, fluoroscopic, and C-arm equipment with attention to image quality
Responsible for quality control across all assigned modalities
Additional duties include patient transport, positioning, scheduling support, and assisting in the training of radiology students
Maintains compliance with all Federal, State, and DNV regulations and practices sterile technique and Universal Precautions

Requirements
Active ARRT certification required, including ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), and ARRT(MRI)
Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS required
State license required if applicable
Experience operating CT scanners, MRI equipment, X-ray, fluoroscopy, and C-arm equipment
Ability to assist with contrast media administration and radiologist-guided interventional procedures (biopsies, injections, drainages)
DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
