    Job Summary:

    We are looking for a Maintenance Technician/Maintenance Engineer to maintain the entire hotel facility, including physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, H.V.A.C.

    systems and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs. This person will ensure the upkeep of guest areas and grounds to maintain an attractive hotel. Manage all rehabilitation, expansion, and special projects.

    Operates with safe and efficient use of equipment and energy in the hotelInforms the Chief Engineer, Assistant General Manager and General Manager on a regular basis, regarding the specific and overall condition of the building structure(s).

    Accesses and inputs information into a computer and generates required reportsMaintains logs, records, and other documentation pertinent to the support of the engineering programsInstalls, tests, visually inspects, cleans out and repairs pipes, plumbing systems and other related equipmentErects, dismantles, and maintains plumbing structures, fixtures, and materialsPerforms janitorial work - clean stairwells, public spaces, parking lot, and maintenance areaPerforms ground maintenance including general cleanup, landscaping, mowing and trimmingPerforms buildings and facilities maintenance including conducting daily testing and monitoring of the pool and whirlpoolQualificationsRegular attendance is essentialMay be required to work varying schedules and holidaysRequired to fully comply with the hotel's rules and regulationsAny combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training, trade skill or experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilitiesWorking knowledge of OSHA safety procedures and regulationsWork Environment/

    Requires working inside as well as out of doors in all weather conditionsAspects of job may require working in extreme temperaturesWorking in small confined areas in awkward positions is requiredPhysical activities include walking, talking, seeing, hearing, reaching, holding, lifting, grasping, stooping, bending, crawling, stretching, kneelingConsiderable dexterity of hands, fingers, and wrists is requiredMust be able to maneuver up and down ladders of varying heightsAbility to walk and stand for long periods is requiredAbility to lift and carry 100 pounds.
