    RequirementsKey Responsibilities

    • System Optimization: Lead the coordination and optimization of our PLC Siemens control systems to align with production goals.
    • Training and Development: Embark on an extensive training journey to master all facets of electrical engineering within our Siemens PLC environment.
    • Equipment Management: Facilitate the planning, installation, and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring optimal performance and seamless integration.
    • Resource Management: Manage the procurement and availability of essential spare parts in collaboration with engineering and stores managers.
    • Strategic Planning: Provide strategic insights on plant improvements and innovations to boost efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
    • Documentation: Maintain meticulous records and administrative systems for all control engineering processes.

    Qualifications

    • Experience: 8-10 years of experience as a Controls Engineer, with a solid technical foundation in automation hardware and software.
    • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in PLC Siemens (Simatic S7-1500), HMI Siemens WinCC, and VFDs (Sinamics, SEW, Lenze). Siemens training and certification highly preferred.
    • Technical Skills: Proficient in reading electrical diagrams and European schematics. Skilled in online code monitoring, modification, and development.
    • Problem-Solving: Experienced in automation control system startups, loop tuning, and troubleshooting. Demonstrated commitment to innovation and effective problem-solving.
