Pharmacy Technician I (Prior Authorization) - Outbound Specialty - Remote
**Position Purpose:** Perform necessary pharmacy services and prescription benefit related functions for internal customers, members, physicians and pharmacies.
+ Clinical initiatives
+ Engagement with providers
+ Data reporting
+ High volume of outbound calls
+ Assist team in researching and resolving problems.
+ Adopting new practices developed by the team that incorporate new technological functionalities.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Education/Experience:** High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of pharmacy experience.
**License/Certification:** Current states Pharmacy Technician license.
**For Fidelis Care Only:** National Pharmacy Technician Certification Required within 90 days
+ Specialty Pharmacy with HIV knowledge and related projects, highly preferred
+ Excel experience and handling a high volume of outbound calls, highly preferred.
**Working Shift:** 9am -5:30pm Monday through Friday (Eastern / EST)
Some job specific details:
+ Make clinically sound, quality interventions across various quality initiatives in accordance with the departments current policy and procedures. This includes, but not limited to HIV Adherence Outreaches, Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) Adherence Outreaches, HARP Point of Sale Resolutions, etc.
+ Manage or co-manage assigned HIV-related projects to work towards the End the Epidemic initiative and the HIV Viral Load Suppression QARR measures.
+ Make outbound calls to members and providers related to QARR/HEDIS and to support population health programs.
Pay Range: $ $26.20 per hour
