- We are seeking an individual to engage in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development following the guidance of our lead software engineer who is shaping our technical approach on the Google Cloud Platform.
- We are in the process of forming a team of IaC developers, but the recruitment phase is turning out to be more time-consuming than expected.
- We require this individual for around 6 months initially, with the possibility of extending to 1 year depending on project growth.
- Providing IT assistance for off-the-shelf and tailored applications, handling intricate problem resolutions, and aiding in data protection, redundancy, and maintenance in partnership with more senior technical team members.
- Performing in-depth analysis to identify the root causes of issues related to hardware, software applications, and system malfunctions, collaborating with peers and clients to resolve these issues, documenting outcomes, and communicating solutions to customers.
- Regularly evaluating applications, making adjustments or updates to individual system applications or fundamental software and their corresponding hardware at various Client locations to ensure they remain up to date and operational within the existing framework.
- Contributing to the creation, execution, and upkeep of custom system software, as well as the installation and upkeep of acquired systems software, in addition to configuring and supporting hardware systems across Client sites.
- Producing and managing documents such as system requirements, designs, resource inventories, and plans as needed.
- Engaging regularly with team members from different Client Group sites to carry out job duties that involve virtual teamwork and collaboration.
- Possibly being responsible for providing 24/7 on-call support.
- A Bachelor's degree and relevant technical development training/experience; OR, an Associate's degree and 5 years of professional experience in technical development.
- Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Preference for familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience OR an Associate's degree in a related field with over 5 years of experience.
- Knowledge of GCP and Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in Terraform.
