Description
The Dignity Health Cancer Institute at St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center and Creighton School of Medicine is seeking a Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic (HBP) Surgeon. Our disease-site specific, comprehensive, multidisciplinary cancer program continues to grow in clinical volume, clinical programs and clinical trials. Our academic involvement with the Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance residency programs also continues to grow.The HBP surgeon will report to the Associate Chief Medical Officer for Oncology Physician Services (ACMOOPS) for all employment, professional and quality-related responsibilities.
The surgeon will foster and facilitate the growth of appropriate clinical trials, facilitate the achievement of the Cancer Institute, DHMG, SJHMC, and CommonSpirit Health goals and quality initiatives and performance improvement projects, and other local and national efforts as requested.
Has teaching and clinical trial experience Focuses on quality and standards of careIs dedicated to delivering high quality, compassionate care and access to the patients of Phoenix and rural Arizona
Must have or be eligible for an unrestricted Arizona State medical licensure
Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals

The Dignity Health Cancer Institute is a 7 year old, beautiful, 220,000 s.f., dedicated outpatient oncology facility located on the Phoenix Biomedical Campus.
