- Establish and participate in an inpatient rheumatology consultation service.
- Work with Baylor Scott and White leaders to establish standard order sets and protocols to standardize endocrinology care across the System.
- Participate in rheumatology teaching efforts for graduate and undergraduate medical education programs.
- Participate in education of the Hospital's nursing staff in provision of care for rheumatology patients.
- Participate in education for the Hospital's Medical Staff in the area of rheumatology.
- Participate in rheumatology research as applicable.
- Assist in recruitment for physician and APP providers for the Hospital's diabetes service and the division of rheumatology.
- Work with the Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation teams to organize the rheumatology related aspects of the EHR.
- Perform such other reasonable duties or special requests as may from time to time be requested by the Hospital.
