    Administrative Warehouse Specialist

    Description:The Warehouse Admin Specialist supportsadministrative monitoring andwarehouse operations by loading, unloading, ordering and tracking freight.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Strong organization and communication skills
    • Strong administrative skills
    • Operate and maintain an automated stock control management system
    • Place orders for tools, materials, and equipment and verify the accuracy of orders received
    • Maintain an efficient stocking system, receiving, storing and issuing all supplies
    • Maintain an effective tracking system for property accountability
    • Maintain accurate daily Serial Number Inventory counts
    • Conduct Audits as needed to ensure nightly 100% equipment reconciliations
    • Transport material within the warehouse
    • Load and unload trailers
    • Break down pallets
    • May be required to deliver material to technicians in the field
    • Ability to lift up to and more than 75 pounds.
    • Record monthly invoices and monitor office expenses.
    • Supply and manage office equipment and machines.
    • Maintain office supplies and co-ordinate deliveries.
    • Manage supply chain and resource requirement s.
    • Other tasks as assigned.
    Job Requirements/Education & Experience:
    • Minimum of a High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol screen
    • Must have a valid Class C driver's license
    • Must be flexible to work shift work, weekends, and overtime when necessary
    • Ability to use MS Word and Excel
    • Must be receptive to direct supervision and thrive in a team environment
    • Must enjoy physical work
    • Background in bookkeeping, accounting, and business administration a plus
    • At least a 2-year working experience in related procurement field (Supply Programs, Logistics Management)
    • Good command of PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to manage processes and analyze information
    • Must display professionalism when interacting with employees and customers
    • Ability to problem-solve in a timely manner.
    • Supply Management and inventory control.
    • Willingness to learn and work with others
    Physical Demands:

    Ability to perform strenuous physical activities including, but not limited to: Regularly lifting objects weighing over 80 pounds, occasionally lifting objects over 100 pounds.

    Work involves moving continuously in a fast-paced environment, standing, talking, hearing, using hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk (20%), sit (5%), climbing (5%), balance (5%), stand (20%), stoop (5%), kneel (5%), reach (10%), push, lift, bend (20%) and smell (5%). Skill in operation of some of the listed tools and equipment; and ability to perform heavy manual tasks for extended periods of time.

    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

    Work Environment:

    This position works in awarehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters, and tape dispensers.

    Attendance:

    Employee is expected to be on the job and on time every scheduled workday. Employee's work hours can change from day to day. It is his/her responsibility to know when the workday starts and ends on each scheduled workday. If it is necessary that you will be absent or late for any reason, employee needs to call direct manager by 8:00 am on the first and each subsequent day the employee will be absent or late. If employee is absent for more than 3 days a doctor's note (explanation) is required.
