    This is your chance to join our team - help us to design the infrastructure and buildings that improve the worldWe are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Design Group in our Fairfax, VA office.

    We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with the ability to complete the design and construction administration for small to medium sized projects, as well as work as part of a larger design team for large projects.

    Designs must meet energy and sustainable design targets and criteria. Coordination with other disciplines and project stakeholders will be required.


    Responsibilities:


    Development of plans, sections, schedules, details, controls, cost estimates, and specificationsMechanical system selection, energy and life cycle cost analysis, knowledge of relevant codes and guidelines, sustainable design, interdisciplinary coordination, and communication with project stakeholders are key considerationsSenior Engineer will be responsible for developing control strategies, calculations, system concepts, layout, and design, equipment selection, as well as oversight of junior staffRequirements:Applicants must possess the following:3-6 years of relevant experienceKnowledge of a wide range of mechanical system designs including DX packaged systems, hydronic systems, chilled water plants, heating water plants, and plumbing is requiredB.S.

    in Mechanical or Architectural EngineeringProfessional Engineer License in Virginia (or ability to obtain in VA)U.S.
