The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Gravitational Wave Physics and Multimessenger Astrophysics.
This position is part of a cluster faculty hire between the Departments of Astronomy and Physics to explore the Universe with Artificial Intelligence.
Qualifications
We are looking for a colleague who will advance our understanding of the Cosmos through gravitational wave observations and numerical simulations using AI, machine learning, and data science techniques.
A Ph.D. in Physics or a related field is required, and applicants must demonstrate creativity and ability to establish an independent research program.

Salary Range
$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
