    WEX is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to join our team and lead the strategic direction of our Health Plan, Medicare & Medicaid account products.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving strategy, collaboration, and ensuring alignment across key stakeholders and departments. This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex healthcare landscapes and foster strong relationships internally and externally.

    Key Responsibilities:


    Develop and implement strategic plans for member account expansion in Medicare and Medicaid to achieve business objectives and growth targets.

    Collaborate closely with sales teams to identify market opportunities, create sales strategies, and support the acquisition of new accounts while nurturing existing relationships.

    Act as a liaison between various departments, including product development, professional services, compliance and service and operations, ensuring alignment of strategies and goals.

    Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and potential risks, providing recommendations for adjustments in strategy.

    Work closely with the product development team to enhance existing offerings, ensuring they meet market demands and regulatory requirements.
    Collaborate with professional services to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing support for health plan clients.
    Interact with cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives, monitor progress, and drive accountability for results.
    Prepare and present reports, business cases, and recommendations to senior leadership on strategy performance and improvements.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
    Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare strategy, preferably in managing Health Plans and Medicare accounts.
    Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including regulatory compliance, market trends, and competitive landscape.
    Proven track record in developing and executing strategic plans that drive business growth and achieve objectives.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
    Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to make data-driven decisions and recommendations in a fast pace environment
