Who you are:

As a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) in the Cardiovascular Surgical Unit for Catholic Medical Center (CMC), you are an integral member of the unit-based care delivery team, providing the highest quality of compassionate care to our patients and their family members.

You are an advocate for your patient and understand your role in maintaining a safe patient environment.

This position is a full time 36 hour, day shift position. The hours are from 7a-7p, with weekend and holiday rotation.

What you'll do:

Under the guidance of the Registered Nurse, you will perform a variety of duties, to include, but not limited to the following: o Activities of Daily Living

§ Bathing

§ Changing bed

§ Assistance with bathing/showering

§ Helping patients get dressed

§ Assistance with meal times

o Vital Signs

o Assisting with Transfers and Ambulation

What you'll bring:

Current registration in the State of New Hampshire as a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)
Basic computer keyboarding and data entry skills required
Requires the ability to utilize and navigate electronic clinical documentation system in order to enter patient data
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)

o Note:
If not BLS certified through AHA, must obtain within 21 days from date of hire

High School diploma or equivalent

Qualifications - External

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Basic computer keyboarding and data entry skills required

Requires the ability to utilize and navigate electronic clinical documentation system in order to enter patient data

Licensure/Certification:

Current registration in the State of New Hampshire as a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)

BLS certified. If not BLS certified, must obtain BLS certification prior to completion of orientation, not to exceed 21 days from date of hire with Catholic Medical Center. Must maintain BLS throughout employment. (Nursing Float Pool must obtain prior to employment.)
