    Role Summary:


    As a Data Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our data infrastructure, driving innovation through the design, development, and maintenance of advanced data pipelines.

    This pivotal role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet dynamic business needs, optimizing data systems for peak performance, and ensuring the highest data integrity.

    Responsibilities:


    Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming large volumes of structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
    Optimize and tune database systems and data processing workflows to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
    Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and logging mechanisms to ensure data integrity, reliability, and availability.

    Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering, big data processing, and cloud computing to continuously improve our data infrastructure.

    Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making and provide actionable insights.
    Document and maintain technical specifications, diagrams, and documentation for data pipelines, systems, and processes.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    3 years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or related roles.
    Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala.
    Hands-on experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
    Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying and managing data infrastructure.
    Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, relational databases, and data warehousing principles.
    Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines and systems.
    Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience with data streaming and real-time processing technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, Apache Flink).
    Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
    Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and techniques for data analysis and predictive modeling.
    Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
