- Bachelor's degree in Business Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Minimum five years of experience in distribution management in a small to medium size company in the computer distribution and or electronics industry
- Previous management experience with five or more employees
- Experience with international distribution networks
- Experience in establishing and/or improving small-package picking, packing and shipping
- Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with WMS and ERP systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong teamwork skills
- Possess dynamic problem solving skills and a history of bringing out the best in employees
- Physical Job Requirements, such as walking, bending, twisting, and crouching as may be expected in a warehouse environment
- Demonstrated project management and implementation skills
- Certification in APICS, and APICS related areas such as CIRM (Certified Integrated Resource
- Management) and CPIM (Certified Production and Inventory Management) a plus.
- Knowledge of OSHA and Cal-Osha regulations
- Experience in establishing and/or improving kitting processes is a plus
- Experience in designing and implementing a WMS is a plus

GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Will be responsible for all aspects of Warehouse operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning, organizing, and monitoring the receiving, storage, and shipping/distribution of all products
Hands-on supervision and management of the day-to-day operations of the warehouse
Direct a current staff of 5 10 plus
Train, coach, and provide recognition to employees to achieve continuous improvement
Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly goals are met or exceeded
Analyze and research problems and provide resolutions
Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Ensuring that inventory is accurately recorded and organized at all times
Participate in and approve the selection of inbound and outbound transportation carriers, such as freight forwarders and trucking companies.
Monitor and manage all aspects of inbound and outbound transportation performance
Negotiates favorable terms and conditions with an outside vendor

Selected Specific Responsibilities:
Supervise and provide direction for warehouse associates
Scheduling for all warehouse employees
Manage labor costs
Establish employee productivity standards, monitor performance, and manage continuous improvements
Training and motivating warehouse associates.
- Apply consistent disciplinary measures as needed
Assists in developing training and motivational programs for associates for increased efficiency and productivity
Interacts with subordinates, peers, and interfacing departments to achieve business goals
Ensures all records and reports regarding warehouse activity are prepared on a timely basis and effectively maintained
Review operating standards, goals, and performance with staff and related Company departments
Manage the planning of space utilization and all work areas to meet cost standards and productivity goals.
Maintain accurate inventory records
Conduct periodic physical inventories and cycle counting as required
Ensures proper stock rotation
Assist in developing budgets
Work to maintain the overall business and warehouse operational budgets

Compensation: Annual Base Salary (DOE) - $65,000 to $75,000
