Position Summary: Under the General supervision of the Manager and technical guidance of the department MT/MLS, performs general laboratory testing in the various sections of the laboratory, performs control testing and initiates troubleshooting steps for problem areas. Performs chemical, histochemical, or morphological analysis on specimens using laboratory using laboratory instrumentation, manual methods, and microscopy after completion of clinical practicums in the appropriate areas.
Qualifications
Experience: Clinical training in school of Medical Laboratory Technology/Medical Laboratory Science/Clinical Laboratory Science for the areas to be worked
Education Bachelor's in Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science/Clinical Laboratory Science.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently (activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) required to stand, sit, and walk; frequently to use hands, fingers; and frequently to talk or hear.
The employee must exert 15 to 20 pounds of force occasionally (activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time), and/or 5 to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 5 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
