Our diverse community spans the cities of Stockton, Lathrop, Manteca, and the township of French Camp. Our 30+ schools serve students from diverse cultural backgrounds and from physical areas ranging from rural to urban. The district spans approximately 113 square miles and is located in the southern part of San Joaquin County.

    Job Summary

    Under the direction of the assigned administrator and under the general supervision of teacher and/or other certificated employee, provides instructional/behavioral support to students in accomplishing learning objectives. Works with students of all ages with severe behavioral, physical, language, or learning handicaps. Performs other related duties as assigned.

    • Paraprofessional Testing (Proof of AA or BA Degree from a regionally accredited college, 48 Semester units OR Certificate showing successful completion of a basic Paraprofessional proficiency test.)

    If selected for this position, you will be required to provide proof of completion of high school or equivalent program.

    Number of openings at the time of posting: One (1) or more.

    Available work shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

    Specially Funded Program: This position is funded by a federal or state grant with a specific start and end date. The funding period may include multiple budget periods but does not guarantee funding beyond the current year.

    PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO INTERNAL CANDIDATES.
