    Manager of Software Quality Assurance / Test Engineering

    As a QA Manager, your primary responsibilities are organizing, planning, and building quality standards and procedures in the QA organization.

    You will be managing both manual testers and automation engineers.

    You are accountable for leading the Quality Assurance team to identify defects, validate solutions, and ensure software quality and stability.


    Job Functions & Requirements:
    ·

    Establish and maintain quality assurance standards and procedures.
    ·

    Lead the manual and automation testers/engineers to ensure minimal defect leakage to production.
    ·

    Establish QA metrics / scorecards and share them with department leaders and top management.
    ·

    Work with product, development, and operation teams to find defects base on requirements and technical specifications.
    ·

    Lead the QA team to establish and maintain test cases writing and test case management.
    ·

    Participate in post-production deployment testing as well as testing in Stage environment.
    ·

    Participate in all SCRUM meetings and work with scrum master in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily scrum meetings.
    ·

    Mentor the QA team members in their domain knowledge and organize training sessions.
    ·

    Collaborate with development and partner support teams in resolving defects.

    Experience:
    ·

    5+ years of Software Quality Assurance Management experience.
    ·

    5+ years in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
    ·

    5+ years of test case management, defect reporting, and defect tracking experience.
    Skills & Expertise
    ·

    In-depth knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, SDLC process.
    ·

    Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques as well as test-case writing skills.
    ·

    Strong knowledge of QA automation frameworks, tools, and script maintenance.
    ·

    3+ years of SQL—able to write queries independently.
    ·

    Proficiency with Selenium and other QA automation tools.
    ·

    Skills in .Net and C# are big plus.
    ·

    Knowledge of Jira, Confluence or other defect tracking and document management tools.
    ·

    Knowledge of API automation and testing.
    ·

    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    ·

    Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    ·

    Collaborating with other IT team members and operation / business stakeholders.
    ·

    Ability to work independently, resolve problems in a fast-paced and fast-growing environment.
    ·

    Ability to facilitate root cause analysis with Dev. and project manager for critical defects and hot fixes.
    ·

    Willing to stay late during our bi-weekly production releases.

    Other Qualifications:
    ·

    Bachelor's degree or better, ideally with a technical major.
    ·

    Willing to work 3 days a week in our Chino Hills office.
