    The Senior Project Scheduler will support NASA under the Consolidated Program Support Services (CPSS) contract at Johnson Space Center (JSC) via Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.

    TELEWORK OPTION: Hybrid (3 onsite days and 2 telework days per week; potential increase in onsite days in 2024)

    WORK LOCATION: NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL

    CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be a U.S. Citizen and complete a U.S. government background investigation.

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts Degree

    Duties and expectations include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Provide expertise to distribute, manage, and coordinate technical schedules for large-scale and medium scale programs including Integrated Master Plans (IMPs) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs)
    • Experienced with the implementation and management of integrated scheduling tools to provide expert guidance and implementation support to project control personnel in the integration of schedule and resource data through resource-loaded schedules within an automated schedule management tool.
    • Works as a mentor within a team environment to analyze budget and resource requirements for programs/projects in order to assure cost and schedule compatibility and to manage impacts resulting from changes to project scope and resource requirements.
    • Thorough understanding of EIA-748 standard Earned Value Management (EVM) principles related to schedule and technical performance measures.
    • Ability to collaborate with a wide range of personnel across NASA Centers, other government agencies, industry and academia in matters concerning program/project scheduling, EVM and other related project control activities.
    • Has extensive experience using various commercial schedule management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project and Primavera).
    • Has extensive experience implementing probabilistic schedule risk assessment and schedule health processes and techniques.
    • Able to mentor more junior team members.
    Experience requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
    • Required 15 years of applicable work experience with minimum of 10 years of "hands-on" CPM Scheduling experience that includes schedule health analysis and schedule risk analysis.
    • Experience using software like Acumen Fuse, Milestones Professional, Onepager Professional, and SharePoint is highly desired.
    • Advanced to proficient user of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
    Desirable and preferred experience includes the following:
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other related certifications desirable
    • Membership with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and/or the College of Performance Management (CPM) is a plus.
