    CEP Customer Products include Demand Response, Distributed Generation, Measurement & Evaluation, Data Sharing Platforms and Data Analytics
    DEMP provides customer data governance guidance to our partners within CES and develops & maintains the tools necessary for customer data access and analytics
    We support a wide range of stakeholders, including internal CES programs (such as Energy Efficiency and Demand Response), local government partners and their climate action planning, academic research on climate planning & sustainability, and regulatory customer data requests
    Position SummaryThe Operations Data Analyst will be a member of the Data & Energy Management Products (DEMP) team within the Clean Energy Programs (CEP) organization
    This position will focus on third-party Demand Response Providers (DRPs) and Electric Rule 24 program implementation
    DRPs participate in the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) market by supplying electric demand response services to retail customers within PG&E's territory and then bidding-in the electricity reduction into the CAISO wholesale energy markets
    The Operations Data Analyst will participate in providing day-to-day operations support and API call activity monitoring for the Rule 24 program
    Support of the Rule 24 DRPs will include diagnosing any Share My Data product or Rule 24-related systems issues and working with the appropriate partners to resolve issues (examples include missing data, improper API-calls, missing or outdated customer authorization, etc
    The Rule 24 program is highly dependent on IT infrastructure and systems to support its day-to-day operations, and this individual will coordinate with both Rule 24 and Share My Data team members, as well as with IT personnel, to ensure a successful resolution of all Rule 24 issues
    Research customer data issues in PG&E systems and perform a moderate level of data entry and querying
    Review systems logs and API call details from Rule 24 DRPs to identify improper call parameters and API call patterns that are not in alignment with Share My Data best practices
    Look up customer account details in PG&E's billing system
    Work with a cross-functional team to support Rule 24 DRPs
    This may include Rule 24 and Share My Data teams, as well as IT operations and others
    Develops and communicates clear, concise, and actionable data analyses for clients
    Assist with developing and updating guidance documents and job aides
