With a growing elderly population, increasing rates of obesity and diabetes, and a rise in surgical procedures, the demand for expert care for non-healing wounds is significantly rising.

In this role at Healogics, as a Registered Nurse (RN) under the supervision of the Wound Care Center Clinical Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator, you will mainly provide patient care, manage intake and discharge processes for Wound Care Center patients, and potentially act as a Case Manager for a designated group of patients.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Providing patient care and managing intake/discharge processes for Wound Care Center patients
Assisting in vein clinic post Healogics Vein Clinic training completion
Serving as a Case Manager for assigned patients

Additional duties involve performing nursing assessments, communicating with physicians, documenting care plans, offering patient education, and more. You may also handle hyperbaric oxygen therapy duties, collaborate with healthcare providers, and act as a Documentation Assistant, among other responsibilities.

Desired Qualifications:

ADN in Nursing
Active RN license in practice state
Preferred BSN degree
Experience in Medical Surgical, Home Health, or Wound Care
Wound care experience is a plus

Required Skills:

Proficiency in BLS
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office

Physical Demands:

Various physical activities including bending, writing, lifting, etc.
Ability to stay focused during extended periods

Work Environment:

Normal office and patient care settings

The hourly rate for this position typically falls around $46.05 per hour, but can vary based on qualifications, experience, and other factors.
