    Full-Time School Registered Nurse (Lead Position)

    Location: Chester, PA

    Start Date/End Date: ASAP - June 14, 2024

    Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

    Type: Onsite

    Requirements:

    • Active RN license in Pennsylvania
    • Ability to complete PA clearances prior to starting
    • Preferred nursing experience in a school setting
    • Comfortable working in an urban setting

    Description: We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Lead School Nurse in Chester, PA. This is a full-time position, with duties including but not limited to collaborating on emergency medical care policies, recommending measures for controlling communicable diseases, and providing training on school health and medical issues.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate on and review emergency medical care and routine injury/illness care policies, protocols, and facilities.
    • Recommend measures for controlling communicable diseases and coordinate emergency medical situations within schools or the school district, including flu epidemics.
    • Provide advice and recommendations regarding maintaining a healthy work environment.
    • Assist in providing training or staff development programs related to school health and medical issues.
    • Conduct Zoom interviews for prospective staff members.

    • Must be comfortable working in an urban setting
    • Zoom interview process for candidate selection
