CASHIER SUPERVISOR

Hensley Beverage Company is a multi-generational, family-owned, local Arizona beverage wholesaler that distributes a wide portfolio of beverages, including Anheuser-Busch InBev (ABI) beers, top selling local and regional craft beers, premium non-alcohol beverages, and an extensive assortment of award-winning fine wines and spirits. Position Summary:

The Cashier Supervisor will manage and maintain the daily operations, strategic objectives, and cashiering functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Maintains financial responsibilities by adhering to internal accounting controls.
• Manages all activities in route reconciliation and cashiering at corporate and outlying locations.
• Manage all special projects and assist in route reconciliation.
• Responsible for interviewing and hiring staff members, providing training, creating work schedules, approving timesheets, and performing any disciplinary actions.
• Conduct annual staff reviews.
• Continuous observation of processes to determine opportunities to automate the cashiering process without impacting accuracy and accountability.
• Ensure that there is a backup relief for every cashier locally and for outlying locations.
• Communicate issues to management, sales, and operations.
• Create a collaborative environment for the department and all teams involved with the cashiering process.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or a minimum of 5 years Cashier Management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess strong leadership skills as well as the ability to work in teams.
• Must have knowledge of cash management principles and be proficient in MS Excel and Word.
• Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ten key by touch required. Banking a plus.
• Must be comfortable handling/counting large amounts of cash/checks.
