    Job Summary

    This position is responsible for partnering with the Regional Sales Directors (RSD) to generate revenue. Key responsibilities include building advisor relationships and discovering new business opportunities through outbound calls and proposal generation. This role will also be accountable to build and strengthen internal relationships with SME's and other stakeholders.

    Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

    • Partner with RSD to build relationships with stated advisors to establish familiarity with OA products and services to identify new opportunities. Assist the advisor with positioning of OA value proposition with their prospects/clients.

      A key component of this role is to build, price and deliver proposals using the OneAmerica Way.

      This role will periodically (as established by RSD/Internal Sales working strategy) travel with the RSD in assigned territory to meet with advisors
    • Prospecting is a large component of this role. The Internal Partner will work closely with leadership to execute on follow-up calls and advisor touch-points to align with current drip campaigns and/or recent advisor events (OneAmerica Financial hosted symposiums/Industry conferences).
    • Partner with RSD to ensure collaboration of joint relationships as needed to ensure alignment with sales goals and current initiatives.
    • Work on special projects as needed.
    Job Requirements

    Required Education and/or Certifications
    • Bachelor's degree
    • FINRA Licenses - Series 6 or ability to pass the exam within 6 months of hire
    • Any qualified designations will be a plus
    Desired Work Experience
    • 3-5 years in a professional environment
    • Sales experience
    • Experience working with financial products and services
    • Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
    Salary Band: S05

    This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. For candidates not local to Indianapolis, IN, remote will be considered. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
