Job Description:

Reporting to the Director of Technical Services, this role will provide technical support to the ANH Ruminant sales team in promoting Balchem ANH products to customers, both domestically and internationally.

Collaborating with the R&D department where necessary, the incumbent will aid in research activities concerning existing and new product applications. Upholding the scientific integrity of Balchem's products in professional interactions and delivering high-quality training materials to both internal and external stakeholders are also key responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Offer technical assistance in product sales, leveraging comprehensive product knowledge and practical nutrition expertise to effectively market Balchem ANH products.
- Contribute to achieving sales and profitability targets set for the business unit.
- Deliver technical product presentations to a diverse audience encompassing feed company representatives and industry professionals.
- Draft scientific and lay press articles on relevant product-focused subjects, while building a robust support network for Balchem.
- Enhance communication, foster advocacy within the technical community, and engage with local universities for R&D coordination.
- Develop and present training resources on product applications, aid in competitive intelligence gathering, and support strategic utilization of acquired insights by the commercial team.
- Assist in key account planning and strategies alongside Area Market Representatives.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the use of safety equipment and adhering to equipment guidelines.

Requirements:
Ph.D. or D.V.M with 5+ years of post-graduate experience; or M.S. with over 10 years of field experience.
