    Job Description

    Support Advocate is a direct support professional (DSP) position at Seven Hills Foundation. The ideal candidate would have a passion for assisting individuals in maintaining their independence while respecting their dignity. Compassion and understanding towards the individuals we support are crucial, recognizing their autonomy and emotions. The role involves various tasks to support individuals in achieving independence in their homes, including:

    • Assisting with household chores
    • Preparing meals
    • Helping with daily living activities
    • Engaging in home and community activities
    • Teaching self-care skills
    • Assisting with personal tasks like bathing and dressing
    • Organizing appointments and schedules
    • Arranging transportation
    • Grocery shopping and meal preparation
    • Facilitating social engagement

    Direct Care opportunities are available with a pay rate of $17.50 under Seven Hills Community Services. The organization is hiring Direct Care Workers, Residential Counselors & Residential Managers for all shifts, seeking individuals who:

    • Implement best practices for residents' well-being
    • Organize outings and activities for resident enjoyment
    • Are team players and attentive communicators

    Get rewarded for your efforts with a pay rate of $19.00.

    Full-time schedules:

    Sun: 3pm-11pm; Mon: 12pm-8pm; Tue: 3pm-11pm; Wed: 12pm-8pm; Thu: 12pm-8pm (40 Hrs; staff meeting 1st Thursday of the month)

    Thurs/Fri 11pm-9am, Sat 11pm-3pm (overnight into Sunday morning; 1st Thursday of the month 12:30-2:30pm; 36.5 hours/week)

    Part-time schedules:

    Sun: 9am-4pm; Mon-Wed: 6am-9am; 1st Thursday of the month 12:30pm-2:30pm (16.5 hours)

    Tue: 9am-3pm; Thu: 6am-3pm; Fri: 6am-9am; Sat: 10am-11pm; 1st Thursday of the month 12:30pm-2:30pm (31 hours/week)

    Support Advocates receive a paid 5-day New Employee Orientation as well as training in CPR/First Aid, Safety Care, Defensive Driving, and Medication Administration Program (MAP), with additional program-specific training onsite. Some positions offer a sign-on bonus.
