Description
The Senior Data Scientist will support predictive analytics and be a key member of JLL's Visionary Insights team working primarily in the retail, health care, banking, and industrial sectors.
This unique team within JLL is poised to grow substantially in 2024 and is looking for the right person to help us realize that growth.
You will have the opportunity to interact directly with clients, be involved in managing projects and client presentations on your work, and do some limited travel for client engagements and trade shows.
You will be helping JLL carve out a market-leader position in sales forecasting and consumer modeling using terabytes of internal and external data sets such as massive mobile consumer data, social media usage and habit data, competitive, and consumer segmentation, plus interacting with client-side business data such as consumer household and point of sale data among many other sources of data.
This role is client facing and requires strong data modeling and statistical software skills, strong communication skills, and the desire to be challenged to learn and/or enhance your capabilities in creating predictive models for a variety of business and consumer challenges.
Statistical methods knowledge (including regression analysis) a must, Stata, SAS, SPSS or similar statistical program required.
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) experience and familiarity with Alteryx and other GIS tools is a plus.
Without prior experience you will be provided training on these tools and expected to pick up these skills as part of your role.
Experience with SQL and other large format database tools is also helpful.Retail Location Analytics experience a plus
