    The Human Resource Generalist provides assistance to all employees to ensure all employment related processes and requests are overseen.

    Interact with employees, peers and staff in a manner conducive to continued positive relationships
    Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and CHAP accreditation human resources regulatory requirements
    Be responsible for standardization and ensuring compliance with FMLA, LOA, time and attendance policies and standards are followed
    Be responsible for managing all employee renewable documents and data entry into the HRIS system. Coordinate and perform the administrative portion of orientation for new employees ensuring completion of required education and supporting documentation in a timely manner
    Provide support and direction to employees and management regarding any employee relations issues or concerns
    Partner with management to provide guidance, content expertise regarding policies and any necessary disciplinary action
    Answer HR related general questions
    Complete an exit interviews and satisfaction surveys
    Enter and maintain correct employee information to ensure compliance with regulatory reporting
    Drive employee engagement functions such as birthday, hospice month, annual anniversaries, career recognition, etc.
    Drive best place to work applications and employee engagement surveys
    Bachelor's in Human Resources Management or equivalent work experience
    1-3 years' experience in Human Resources
    Ability to operate computer equipment, Excel, Outlook, Word, multiple phone lines, fax, and photocopy machines
    Office Location: 801 Rosehill Road, Jackson MI
    Office Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday

    Background screening is completed by a third-party administrator, the Michigan Long-Term Care Partnership, and is performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act.
