Description
As the Manager of Recruiting and Onboarding at National Apartment Association (NAA), you will collaborate with managers and senior staff to determine hiring needs and attract candidates using various sources such as job sites, social networks, job fairs, and employee referrals.
Recruiting
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Manage end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and onboarding.
Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent
Analyze recruitment and onboarding metrics to optimize processes, enhance the candidate experience, and streamline hiring workflows
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create effective job descriptions
Ensure hiring, screening, and interviewing adhere to legal requirements and company policies
Enhance and maintain strong employer branding to attract and retain top talent
Onboarding
Design and implement onboarding programs that facilitate the successful integration of new employees into the company culture
In partnership with the Training and Development Manager, design, organize, and deliver HR orientation presentations to seamlessly integrate new employees into the company culture and operational frameworks
Partner with the Training and Development Manager to facilitate quarterly training sessions for hiring managers
Lead the Welcome Committee, fostering a welcoming space for new hires
Additional Responsibilities
Manage the exit process by conducting exit interviews to gather feedback and supporting departing employees with guidance on benefits
Compile and present reports on common recruiting metrics such as time to fill, onboarding experience, applicant experience, and hiring manager satisfaction
Act as subject matter expert on HRIS/Timekeeping System
Assist the Finance team throughout the payroll process to ensure employees' pay, benefits, and deductions are accurate

Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
4 years' experience or equivalent in Recruiting and/or HR Generalist roles
Demonstrable experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System and HR databases, (experience with Paylocity preferred)
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
Proficiency in analyzing recruitment metrics and data
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively
Preferred Education And Experience
Trade Association experience
PHR or SHRM CP certification
