Buyer/Planner - Components - San Jose

Plan plan purchase material requirements ensure flow materials ongoing production as well as new products development Prepare review place department purchasing requisitions Maintain computerized purchasing records paper filing Monitor resolve production material shortages Seek partner maintain relationships reliable outside vendors suppliers manage purchase order demand Place order follow closely counterpart CMs achieve sales demand fulfillment Monitor follow closely CM production schedule ensure on time delivery monitor prototype projects Update planning spreadsheets internal reports regular basis Review monitor inventory levels against sales ratio forecast respond changes sales trend forecast Enter purchase transactions precisely gather historical data Other projects tasks may assigned based business needs
Bachelors degree Engineering Supply Chain Management preferred Minimum 2 years purchasing planning experience contract manufacturers ideally computer hardware server products preferred Excellent oral written communication skills Fluent Mandarin plus Ability present data analysis organized clear concise manner Ability manage multiple projects tasks simultaneously Proven ability research apply critical information evaluate product conduct cost analysis competitive pricing positioning Excellent problem solving skills Must comfortable working cross functional teams achieve common goal Familiarity lean principles JIT environments APICS Certification plus Experience hardware design component selection evaluation strongly desired Ability work collaboratively fast paced environment Ability maintain highest ethical professional business conduct
