    Description
    As a Production Technician, you operate equipment to manufacture plastic containers for leading consumer brands.     • Friday1st shift: 6:48am 3:00pm2nd shift: 2:48pm 11:00pm3rd shift: 10:48pm 7:00amOpportunity

    • We are located off of Ford RoadPremium pay & benefitsYou WillOperate a variety of top of the line extrusion & blow molding manufacturing equipment in a clean, safe & climate controlled environmentMonitor equipment, making adjustments to settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure, etc.)
    to produce high-quality rigid plastic containersTroubleshoot equipment & perform routine preventative maintenanceAssure Plastipak customer requirements are met by performing quality checks for specifications, such as bottle weights & dimensionsJoin with your team to identify continuous improvement opportunities focused on safety, reliability, quality & scrap reductionGrow your skills through formal & side-by-side training, and have opportunities for career advancementYou HaveHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalentA minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Manufacturing Production Technician working with equipment used for high-volume productionWorking knowledge of extrusion or blow molding equipment is preferredHydraulics, pneumatics & electrical mechanical basic knowledgeAbility to troubleshoot & problem solveAbility to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodationPlastipak is an Equal Opportunity EmployerIn order to process your job application, Plastipak collects and stores the personal information that you submit via this website.
