- Develop plan and conduct field training for Operations new hires on basic QA/ QC of plant equipment maintenance.
- Conduct annual training for all employees on QA/ QC methods for plant equipment maintenance.
- Develop, Implement, and manage documentation of QA/ QC checks.
- Capture facility knowledge and expertise of plant resources to enhance our QA/QC performance.
- Develop a plan for workforce resources to ensure effectiveness of program with available resources and for growth of the program to expand program's effectiveness.
- Develop a plan for workforce when needed for times when additional resources are needed based on the size of work scope using outside resources through auditing vendors of such services.
- Provide QA/ QC functions of day-to-day jobs.
- Obtain enhanced training on QA/ QC to revamp/ update training on QA/ QC program.
- Identify trends in deficiencies to address with individuals or additional training opportunities.
- Maintain all plant scale and meter proving documentation.
- Maintain hydrotest documentation in PCMS.
- Maintain x-ray inspection program testing documentation from Weld Shop
- Perform spot checks on insulation projects.
- May be required to work extended hours during turnarounds and project work as needed.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management.
- Work will be done in a mix of field and office work settings.
- Keep work areas clean and orderly.
- Maintain neat, legible, and accurate records.
- Follow all safety and work rules.
- Participate in all company mandated safety training.

Scope & Responsibilities of Plant QA/ QC technician: (Not limited to)
This position works to develop and implement a Quality Assurance/Quality Control program for daily, turnaround (TAR) activities and general project work capturing facility knowledge and utilizing employee ownership to ensure safe operations.
COGNITIVE DEMANDS: Meet deadlines, focus attention, work independently, work with a team, perform repetitive tasks, spatial relations, communicating, interpreting, organizing, reading comprehension, critical thinking/troubleshooting.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: seeing, speaking, hearing, smelling, kneeling, stooping, sitting, walk/climb, stand/reach, listen, writing, physical coordination, driving, climbing, twisting/bending, depth perception, assembling parts, keyboarding, push/pull/lift/carry or otherwise transport 50 pounds.
Demonstrate physical ability and skill to climb, enter vessels through man ways and work in elevated locations or confined spaces in all weather conditions.
Work in various indoor and outdoor environments in extreme heat or cold with exposure to hazardous materials.
Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and moderate noise levels.
Must be able to wear Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) and use all types of respiratory equipment including self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).
