Your Responsibilities:
Establish a proactive safe culture built on continuous improvement
Maintain equipment in proper working condition through planned and instituted preventative maintenance procedures.
Oversee equipment spare parts stock inventory, and place orders for new supplies when necessary
Develops timelines for repairs and works to ensure projects stay on schedule
Regular site visits to identify and resolve equipment issues
Prepared and document maintenance logs
Assist with departmental budget estimates and cost of current and future projects.
Adheres to company safety procedures
What you'll need:
In-depth knowledge and skills related to the trade such as hydraulic, pneumatic systems
Planning and leadership abilities
Detect malfunctions through sound and visual observations
Familiarity using various power and hand tools
Attention to detail
Education and Experience:
Three years maintenance experience
Welding experience preferred
Experience in repair of metal processing equipment, heavy machinery and trucks
High school diploma or GED equivalent
