Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Lawn Care Technician for the upcoming season. This position offers 16-20 hours per week, with the potential to transition into a full-time, year-round role for the right candidate. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining lawn care equipment, ensuring efficient and high-quality service, and providing excellent customer interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain lawn care equipment, including mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers, and other small engine tools.
- Perform lawn maintenance tasks on 25-30 properties per day, ensuring attention to detail and quality.
- Maintain equipment through routine checks and basic mechanical maintenance.
- Provide exceptional customer service through polite, respectful, and communicative interactions.
- Work efficiently and effectively in various outdoor weather conditions.
- Adhere to the scheduled work hours and maintain consistent attendance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in landscape maintenance preferred.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Land O' Lakes area.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Excellent work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Tobacco-free and drug free.
- Ability to work the following schedule:
- Friday: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation:
- Starting at $18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
