    Description

    He/she will be responsible for the local delivery and execution of core welding to vendors and managers in accordance with Johnson Controls principles, corporate policies and procedures, and plant operations.

    You will perform a variety of employment related functions for the ultimate purpose of enhancing employee engagement, safety and health, productivity and ensuring employee compliance with Company policies in a manufacturing facility.

    The Welder II and III will have a minimum of 3 years of MIG/TIG welding experience.
    Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
    Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as GMAW, TIG, Plasma Cutter.
    Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
    Conduct Technical Inspections.
    assign tasks and projects.
    Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects.
    The use of various hand tools, machinery and equipment will be required to manufacture metal

    This position will work with Supervisors and Lead Hands to ensure continuous improvements in work cells, hitting quotas, welding according to pre-set parameters using GMAW and TIG welding processes.

    The Welder will be required to have strong knowledge and skill in operating all metalworking machinery.
    Additionally, the Welder will be required to read and understand production drawings, blueprints, work orders and other written instructions.
